Italmobiliare has entered into an agreement for the sale of its entire stake in Capitelli Fratelli S.r.l. (“Capitelli” or the “Company”), representing 80% of the share capital, to CA Animation, a European food group. As part of the transaction, CA Animation will also acquire an additional 10% stake in the Company from Angelo Capitelli, who will remain a shareholder with a 10% interest.

Capitelli is active in the production and sale of premium cooked and smoked cured meats, distinguished by the careful selection of meats and specific processing techniques. The flagship product is San Giovanni cooked ham, created in 1994 and today recognised as a pioneer of the so-called “out-of-mould cooked hams”.

Following Italmobiliare’s acquisition of an 80% stake at the end of 2019, Capitelli embarked on a growth and development path that brought revenues to €24.7 million in 2025, up more than 70% compared with 2019. Over the period, the production facility was expanded and reorganised, new products were launched, and the Company further strengthened its focus on supply chain selection and traceability.

Vitale acted as financial advisor to the sellers, offering support in the structuring of the transaction, in the negotiation phases and in the coordination of due diligence activities.
