Gruppo Selini, controlled by Chequers Capital, has acquired a 75% stake in Raicar Service S.r.l. (“Raicar”) a company specializing in the rental, sale and servicing of forklift trucks. The acquisition strengthens Gruppo Selini's presence in the Piedmont and Liguria regions, further expanding its coverage in two strategically important markets for the Italian logistics and material handling industry.

Established more than 40 years ago, Raicar is the authorized Toyota Material Handling dealer for the provinces of Cuneo, Asti, Savona, and Imperia. The company provides equipment rental, sales, after-sales service, and technical consulting for material handling solutions. Gruppo Selini's investment ensures continuity of operations while preserving Raicar's longstanding customer relationships and service capabilities in its core markets.

The acquisition forms part of Gruppo Selini's broader growth strategy, focused on integrating well-established local businesses with strong market positions. By combining complementary geographic coverage and operational expertise, the group aims to offer customers a faster and more extensive service network, a broader fleet of equipment, and enhanced local support, while maintaining direct customer relationships.
