An important international operator of luxury hotels has purchased Palazzo Morrocchi, a historic building located in the center of Florence, destined to be transformed into a hotel building.

The building, located in the center of one of the most prestigious streets of the city, boasts both architectural and historical importance. The property housed the famous Caffè Michelangelo, which starting in 1855 for more than twenty years was the meeting place of the important Florentine and Tuscan artistic avant-garde called Macchiaioli.
