Vitale assisted Nextalia, an independent and institutional investor operating in the Italian market with a specific focus on SMEs, in the acquisition through its portfolio company Diagram S.p.A., an Italian agritech hub, of a majority stake in Netsens S.r.l., a Tuscan company leader in Italy in the production of monitoring systems for agriculture 4.0.

Diagram is a leader in Italy and one of the main operators in Europe in technological platforms for the agricultural sector, result of the transformation of IBF Servizi and its subsidiaries Agronica and Abaco Group.

Netsens, based in the province of Florence, is a leading Italian company in the production of sensors for agriculture 4.0 with over 100 thousand sensors produced and over 4000 installations in Italy.

As part of the transaction, the current shareholders, i.e. the founding family Manes and the shareholder Irritec, will reinvest part of the proceeds, thus maintaining a minority stake in the Company. 

Vitale acted as financial advisor to the buyer.
