Germani S.p.A.

  • deal description:

Germani S.p.A. (“Germani”) has completed the acquisition of Löblein Transport GmbH (“Löblein”), a German operator specializing in intermodal transport services for waste and other materials along the strategic corridor linking Central and Northern Europe with the Italian market.

Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Schillingsfürst (Bavaria), Löblein provides logistics, freight forwarding and intermodal transport services (road–rail), with a particular focus on cross-border transport flows between Central and Northern Europe and Italy. The company also operates an Italian logistics site in Sommacampagna (Verona), which serves as a key hub for transalpine transport flows.

The transaction represents a further step in Germani’s growth strategy and aims to strengthen the Group’s positioning in the European logistics market by fostering operational and commercial synergies and further enhancing intermodal transport services between Italy and Central and Northern Europe.

Headquartered in San Zeno Naviglio (Brescia), Germani is one of the leading Italian operators in transport and logistics services, with expertise in the transportation of industrial waste, hazardous materials, and chemicals goods. The Group is led by Chief Executive Officer Mauro Ferrari and is supported by Eurizon Capital SGR S.p.A., which holds a majority stake through funds under management.

Vitale acted as financial advisor to Germani.
