Vitale assisted EOS Investment Management Group (“EOS IM”) in connection with the acquisition of Trafo Elettro S.p.A. (“Trafo Elettro” or the “Company”), supporting the acquirer in structuring the acquisition financing provided by a banking pool comprising UniCredit, Banca IFIS and BNL.

EOS IM acquired a 70% stake in Trafo Elettro, a well-established manufacturer of cast resin, oil-immersed and amorphous transformers serving a wide range of end markets, including renewable energy, industrial applications, hydroelectric plants, power transmission and power grids, energy storage systems, metropolitan networks and data centers.

Headquartered in Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza), Trafo Elettro has been active for more than 50 years in the design and manufacturing of distribution transformers (<7 MVA) and power transformers (>7 MVA), which are key components for electrical and industrial infrastructure as well as for the development of renewable energy projects. The Company has an established presence in more than 90 countries, with over 30,000 units installed and more than 90% of its revenues generated internationally.

Vitale acted as debt advisor, assisting EOS IM in the structuring and negotiation of the financing in support of the transaction.
