Cereal Docks, an Italian industrial group leading in the primary agri-food processing for the production of ingredients intended for applications in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, animal nutrition, technical, and energy sectors, has signed a binding agreement to acquire Molino Favero, an Italian company leader in the production of special free-from flours and ingredients for the food industry.
Cereal Docks is an Italian industrial group specialised in primary agri-food processing, with sales exceeding €1 billion and owned by the Fanin family.
Molino Favero, founded in 1925 by the family of Giampaolo Favero, has the production centre in Padova and registered sale of over €50 million in 2022.
The acquisition falls within the strategy of supply chain consolidation and growth in a segment with high development potential for the Group.
The transaction, subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to conclude in the coming months.
In the transaction, Cereal Docks was assisted by a pool of advisors consisting of Vitale&Co (financial advisor), TZ&A (technical and tax advisor), and SAT law firm (legal advisor).
Vitale acted as financial advisor offering support in the structuring of the transaction, in the valuation, in the negotiation phases and in the coordination of due diligence activities.
