Banca Popolare di Sondrio S.p.A. announced the execution of an agreement with Nexi S.p.A. for the sale of the business unit related to merchant acquiring activities, as well as for the disposal of the minority stake held in Nexi Payments S.p.A., a company of the Nexi Group, a leading European player in digital payments.
The closing of the transaction is expected in the first months of 2026 and is subject to the receipt of the required approvals from the competent Authorities.
